Therefore, Chinese quartz manufacturers create the printing techniques to print the detailed veins directly on the quartz surface. At the beginning, we print the veins on pure white quartz, but it shows no veins at edges, only blank. In order to have penetrated veins as full body quartz slab, we need to manufacture a full body quartz slab, with veins to match the target printed veins. Then, we print the veins on the formerly-manufactured full body quartz slab. Therefore, we have the printed Taj Mahal quartz surface slab, with penetrated veins, so-called full body quartz sheet. The complex process means more cost of production and then more expensive price. That is why now the printed quartz slabs are generally more expensive than other regular Calacatta quartz slabs.
